MITD = Most Important 20 Daily

Your Most Important 20 lines of the day

Where in life are you now?

Please correct me if I’m wrong…

You have big goals, you want to make a lot of money, but you do not have time to achieve your goals. On top of that, you need it now. Am I right?

What if I told you, not only that is possible, but also it is very easy to execute. You don’t have to be a Zen master of meditation or go to a night college to earn some more degrees, or work three jobs to get to where you want to be in life. You can do it now, by just spending five minutes a day, with a rock-solid goal and the commitment to finish the process. All you need is a burning desire to get it. Like Les Brown said, “I was hungry!”

So, the big question is how to do it? And the answer is, by creating a system, which is easy peasy. Yes, I mean it. It’s so easy that even a 5-year-old kid can do it. I dare you to give it a whole-hearted try, with some faith, conviction, and commitment.

Only help I ask of you are two things:

  1. Find your Big Why? Why do you want to do it to begin with?
  2. Find your goal, or the amount of money you want to make.

Brian Tracy once said, if you want to make more money next month, you should set a goal of making 1.5 times more than what you are doing now. So, if you are making, say for example $7,500 a month now, you should shoot for making $10,000 in the next 12 months. Another example, if you are making $8,000 now, your next year’s income should be $12,000 (8000 X 1.5 = $12,000). One thing I would like to mention in the beginning that going forward I would repeat this sentence, “I make $10,000 a month,” several times. That does not mean that you should follow the same number blindly. Your need may be different than $10,000. It could be more it would be less. I don’t know. You need to determine your own goal. And for that I’m providing your system of your current income multiplied with 1.5 times.

You do these two things, get your Big Why for making money and set you dollar amount and the timeframe by which you want to accomplish it, I’ll help you create a system for that.

But wait! There is a Problem!!!

It might sound harsh, but this is the reality. You’ve got a goal. You have got a good system. You got started. You even got some good results. But the question is, “How long will you be able to continue it?” And, most people fall on their faces at this point (and I’m not immune to it either). Why? Because “Starting something is easy. But to continue it for a long time is hard.” And that is the reason you need to follow this entire system. It will make you rock solid, by teaching you all the tricks and techniques for sticking around a discipline for a long time. It reminds me a great line from Thomas A Edison, “The three great essentials to achieve anything worthwhile are, first, hard work; second, stick-to-itiveness; third, common sense.”

Why is a System so important to achieve anything?

You might ask, “Sunny, you sound like a system-oriented guy, but why?” I’ll tell you why. In 2006, my mentor at T. Harv Eker once told me, “Sunny, the biggest secret of success is copy someone who is successful in your trade.” Tony Robbins says in a different way, “Success leaves clues.” And the old Ben Franklin says, “The secret to success is in 3 things, beg, borrow, or steal.” Today whenever I start something, first I try to create a system based on a success track. A track which has a history of proven track records, or data. Inside my system, I will use some Formulas and Tools. And that will create the whole Process for me. I’m a strong believer of the system. I think, so should you be, so that you can call yourself a well-structured and System-oriented person. I love this line by Scott Adams, Losers have goals, winners have systems. Because my personal and business life both, is a sum total of three things, Simplicity, Systems and Organization.

What is a MITD?

MITD is an acronym for “Most Important 20 Daily.” First you find out what is the most pressing need of your life at this moment. It could be to make money, to gain health, to improve relationships, to get a higher degree, to take your family to Disney world… you decide it. Then, you write it in a sentence. For example, if your pressing need at the moment, is to make money, you can create a sentence like this, “I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22.” Now, when you wake up in the morning, the first thing you do is, write it 20 times in a journal. This will be THE SYSTEM that will create a lifestyle you always wanted to have. A goal is merely a wish, but a system is the roadmap which will get you that goal.

A brief history behind creating the MITD.

After searching for a long time, going thru 1000’s of books, countless trainings, hiring mentors over the years, and experimenting in my own personal life, I banked into this divine system that works like clockwork. Today, MITD is not just a tool for me (yes, I still use it every morning) but it’s a lifestyle. Even though there are so many systems I came across, this is the EASIEST system which is accessible to everybody. Each and every human being can do and achieve their goal by following this system. This is the shortest, easiest, and fastest route to manifest your dreams. This is the beginner’s tool (as well as advanced) for Law of Attraction.

Brian Tracy taught me to write my 10 goals every day for 30 days and see the results. Which I did and also got some good results. But they were not easy to do. It had a lot of moving parts. So, it fell off. I was looking for a user-friendly, at the same time, an easy system that can be repeated each morning without much effort.

Then, in the year 1999, I came across this book by Suze Orman called, “Nine Steps to Financial Freedom.” In this book I got my Golden Nugget. I tried it, and it worked like magic. Then, along with the time, I made it better. Today, the system I’m going to hand over to you is light years ahead of any other system for self-improvement. Why? Simply because it’s simple. It’s simple but elegant. Hen, in 2022, I came across a book by Tim Ferris, called, Tools of Titans, which also talks highly about Image Streaming.

WHY should you do your MITD?

When you have so many choices in life to achieve your goals, WHY you should consider doing MITD, to begin with? Because it’s easy to begin with. All it takes is a pen and paper, and you start writing, immediately… anywhere, anytime. It takes the “hard work of thinking process” out of it. Secondly, you can continue it for the rest of your life. And, thirdly, I’ll teach you how, with the help of another tool called, “Tiny Habits Creation,” you’ll not only master this system, but also continue it for as long as you live. At the same time, teach your children, friends, family, and customers. And overall, I encourage you to have a big WHY before you start it. Like the German philosopher Frederick Nietzsche said, “If you have a why, you’ll find the how.” I’ll get you the how, but you need to bring your own WHY. The more intense your why is, the faster you’ll get the results. And you’ll also be more committed. And last but not least, I’ve promised you a timeframe. You’ll start seeing the needle moving by the 30th day.

How to construct your magic sentence?

Once you found your goal and wrote down your magic sentence in one line, you need to make sure it has these characteristics:

Ask yourself, Is this goal stated as though already accomplished?

That is, are the things you want worded on the goal list as though you already had them? They must be!

Don’t write: “I want … I wish … I need.” Do write: “I have … I am … I own.”

Examples: I own a brand new, black Mercedes automobile, Model 380SLC, equipped with … etc., etc.

I am an effective person who always follows through on things I start … etc.

It must be written in the present tense.

As a matter of fact, initially, you just follow my magic sentence. And as the time goes by, you’ll get better at it to create your own. But I can caution you, if you drifted too far from this unique sentence, the magic will be gone. And you remember my sentence, “I make an excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22.” Feel free to change the dollar amount and the date but nothing else.

Another example, if you want a Mercedes, write it like this…

“I own a brand new, black Mercedes automobile, Model 380SLC, fully loaded by 12/31/22.”

I think by now, you should have a clear-cut understanding about constructing your magic sentence.

Note: This form is essential to the psychological and psychic effectiveness of the declarations that are to come. Be certain you use this form in writing up your goals.

How to determine the dollar amount?

People always ask me, Sunny it sounds good, but how do I determine the dollar amount in my goal? Here I’ll give you the formula to construct your sentence for both your Long-Term and Short-Term goal.

Let’s start creating a sentence for your Short-Term goal:

As you remember your short-term goal is what you are chasing on a day-to-day basis. This is the sentence you’ll be writing for 20 times every day in the morning. Even though you can’t fit any goal into it, because most of the time people want to make more money, so we’ll take the example of money here. I learned this formula long time ago from Brian Tracy. He told me, SUNNY, initially make your goal in a way that it will be easier for your subconscious to believe it. For example, if you are currently making $10,000 a month, your next month’s goal should be 150% of $10,000. If you do the math, 1½ times of $10,000 is $15,000. Let’s take another example, if you are making $6,500 now, you’re gone for the next month should be roughly 150% of it, which is around $10,000. Even though the correct math would be $9750. But we should keep our sentence as simple as possible. I have learned the hard way in life that whenever I keep something simple, I get to the finish line. The moment complexity creeps in, it remains unfinished. We need to build our muscle slowly. Just like the muscles in our body, we also have mental muscles, you can call it your trust muscles, faith muscles, or believe muscles.

If you shoot for 10 times of what you’re making today, your subconscious won’t accept that amount. Then you will swim against the tide, and eventually you’ll give up. You don’t want that.

Let’s start creating a sentence for your Long-Term goal:

For your long-term goal, since I do not know you personally, so it’s very hard for me to tell you what you should shoot for. But I can give you an example. If money is on your mind and you’re struggling to figure out how much money you should make before you retire, there is one school of thought: in the 90s they used to say that you should have at least $1 million net worth to retire. But in today’s world, that amount has doubled. You should have at least $2 million net worth then you’re not you’re ready to retire. And don’t be alarmed with this amount. Because if husband and wife both working, $2 million goes through their fingers in their lifetime. Let me prove it to you. The other day I heard it on CNN that average American family today makes $65,000 a year. No if you multiply $65,000 with 30 of your working years, it comes close to a $2,000,000 mark. But if you work 35 or even 40 years, it surpasses $2M mark. Plus, I’ve been into banking, finances, and insurance for the last 32 years. And based on my experience, I can say with confidence, at the minimum someone will have to have a $2,000,000 net worth before they retire. In fact, taking the factor of inflation, it should be $5,000,000 to be precise. But, let’s keep it to $2M so that our sub-conscious will not have any problem believing it. So, you can write your sentence like this, “The major definite purpose of my life is to get a net worth of $2 million by….” You put a date month and year at the end.

Action Creates Momentum

Folks, now that you got the tools and techniques for MITD at your disposal, you want to jump into it and start writing it daily, first thing in the morning. Act on it. If you can start with 20 times, well and good. If not start with 10, 5, or even one time a day. Yes, write one sentence, and then, get on your life for the rest of the day. Action has power in it. Don’t sit and analyze it. Don’t fall into the trap of “Paralysis of Analysis.” Write your magic sentence (or any goal that you want to achieve) … “I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/2022.” This system has worked for a lot of people, and so will be with you. Have faith in the bigger power of the Universe.

All you need to do is to take action, some action, any action, towards what you want to accomplish. Each action you take will create energy, hence creating momentum moving you closer and closer to what you want. It is important you remember this point. Even small actions against what you want are OK.

Do not disclose your secret to anybody

WARNING!

Don’t tell anyone about your program, your new goals, your hopes for the future except someone taking the steps with you! This is of the utmost importance as you begin. Your frame of mind at this critical point can easily be infected with doubt, just as a tiny, newborn infant could fall prey to disease.

Give yourself a chance by giving no one the opportunity to keep you from the wealth and success which can be yours.

When you have started to achieve that success … they will be asking for your secret. Now, they have to deny it or admit their own lack of qualifications. Take no chances!

A Note to Skeptics:

Generally, at this point, in the examination of MITD, a handful of would-be practitioners begin to grumble things like: “mumbo-jumbo,” “daydreams,” “sounds ridiculous” or words to that effect.

If you are in that number, let me suggest this…suspend your skepticism and give yourself a chance. Notice I said, “Give yourself a chance.” I am not concerned for MITD. Your doubts cannot harm it one iota. It works; the wealth that I and others have achieved using the method has proven time and time again that it works! But your skeptical refusal to at least TRY will once again deprive you of the success you want so badly but which continues to elude you.

Look at it this way. At the most, you have nothing to lose but a little time. You have a world of wealth and happiness to gain. Surely, with the odds so overwhelming, i.e., nothing vs. EVERYTHING…it’s worth trying.

To be unwilling to try is to cut yourself off from at least the possibility of success for the dubious pleasure of never knowing what might have happened.

What problems will you encounter?

When you start this system, you’ll come across two problems:

  1. Keeping your focus on both immediate & future goals.
  2. To continue it till your goal is achieved and all your dreams are manifested.

Keep your focus on both short-term and long-term goals, simultaneously.

So, talking about the first problem (short- and long-term goals), you need to have a balance between these two. I’ve made this mistake time and time again, and I want you to learn from my mistakes. You’ll obviously make money (or achieve whatever goals you have) with this system. But if you just focus on your immediate goal and only write, “I make X amount of dollars,” you’ll get lost in it. And even though you’ll achieve it, in the long run, you’ll find, you’re away from you long-term goal, your life’s purpose. Now the big question is, “How to avoid it?” How to not get bogged down in our day-to-day life things and lose focus on our long-term goal in life? Very simple. You’ll write on the top of the page,

“The major definite purpose of my life is to have a net worth of $1,000,000 by 12/12/24.” Or, it could be, “To make my son a doctor by 5/31/2029.” Or it could be, “To buy my dream home by 12/12/24.” Whatever your main goal in life right now (it will change with time, after you get it).

If you only focus on your short-term goal and ignore your long-term goal, your life will not have the balance you want in it. I’ve made this mistake for years.

How to write your long-term goal?

Say like your Big goal is to be a millionaire in life. On the top of the page you’ll write in one sentence like this, “The major definite purpose of my life is to have a net worth of $1,000,000 by ….” Make sure, you put a date here. As they say, “A goal without a deadline is just a wish.”

How to write your short-term goal?

Then, from the next line you’ll start writing, “I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22.” Always write the last date of the month in your line. This process encompasses all three parts of the Law of Attraction, namely, affirmation, visualization, and meditation. I’ll explain in detail in a minute.

So, after writing that sentence on the top, you’ll write your short-term goals in the next 20 lines. See the sample in the next chapter, as to, how it will look like.

To continue it till your goal is achieved and all your dreams are manifested.

Before going into details for our point #2, let me share a quote from a movie (Harami), where the protagonist (Emraan Hashmi) says,

“Any fool can be a hero at any given moment. It’s the day-to-day living that wears you out.”

Do you believe that? I do. I’ve seen it that close in life, how difficult it could be to continue something every day, as small as saying a one-line prayer, before my bed. We forget, we procrastinate, we avoid… and oh by the way, life happens. It will always throw a curve at us, which will disturb the whole set-up for the day. That is why I recommend people to do it first thing in the morning, and get it done with.

Let me share a secret with you. I’m very much into time-management. So, when it came to writing it 20 times in the morning, I tried to find a space in my morning routine, so that I can fit it there, and leave it on autopilot. After years of trial and error, I found that sweet spot. Let me ask you, what do you think we do when we sip our morning coffee on the breakfast table? You might say, nothing or some useless things like scrolling down my cell phone. Now I use that time to write my MITD. Those precious five minutes that I was throwing away every day, I use it for a higher purpose, and nobody gets hurt.

Coming back to continue something after we start…

I, personally, do not like to start something and not finish it. Why? Because my dad used to say, “If you start something and don’t finish, it will mar your character.”

And the biggest problem that you’ll encounter in this endeavor will be:

Initially, when you start… after doing it for a couple of days, you’ll start drifting, and put it off for the next day. I have a solution for that. Since it’s a new habit building process, start small. Yes, you’ll start very small. That will help you continue the process. This method is called, “Tiny Habit Creation,” coined by the author B. J. Fogg, PHD in his groundbreaking book, Tiny Habits.

So how does it work?

Instead of writing all 20 lines from day #1, you’ll make a specific journal for it, and just write one line on it, “I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22.” Close your journal and get on with your life. You would not even feel that you are on the road to great success. You are creating a habit that will be engrained on your subconscious mind. And so, later on, you’ll do it as a habit, not as a chore. Just like you brush your teeth in the morning, without making extra effort for it.

By the way, these three are the best books I came across, so far habit changing is concerned. You might want to check them out:

  1. Tiny Habits– BJ Fogg
  2. Atomic Habits– James Clear
  3. The Power of Habit– Charles Duhigg
  4. Innercise – John Assaraf

This book gives two good principles to create a new habit, easily and effortlessly:

  • Make the change too small to fail
  • Use existing habits to build new ones

How to do your MITD?

Write a goal 20 times each morning, like:

“I make in excess of $10,000 by 3/31/2022.”

At the end of the 20th sentence, write…

I believe it because it’s true.

Then, finish it with love and gratitude…

Thank you thank you thank you. (Smile, take 3 breaths, close your eyes and visualize it)

One of the best ways to expedite it even faster is…

After writing it each time, you read the sentence aloud. Then, write it 2nd time, say it…

Another way to write it…

I, Sunny Mitra, am making in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/2022.”

Here are a couple of things to pay attention to:

Make sure you take care of both of your goals simultaneously:

Your Long-Term Goal, and

Your Short-Term Goal

Your Long-Term goal may be like buying a house, having a net worth of a million dollars etc. And your short-term goal should be the most pressing problem of the moment, like making $10,000 a month to pay the bills.

Please go to the next page to get a preview of writing your morning MITD correctly…

MITD has four parts. Here is a sample page of how it should look like…

  • First you are to write your BIG Future goal here, in just one line, something like this…

The major definite purpose of my life is to be a millionaire by 12/12/24.

  • Then, you will start yoru MITD with this sentence…

I am certain that –

  • Then, from the next line you’ll keep on going like this…

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22

  • When you’re done writing it for 20 times, finish it like this…

It’s easy –

I believe it because it’s true.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Once again, we are going to change the date every month. For example, in August we may write, “I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22,”  but the next month, it will be, “I make in excess of $10,000 by 9/30/22.”

After you finish writing it, you’ll look at it, and say it aloud once. Then, you’ll take 3 deep breadths, close your eyes, and visualize making that money. Take as much time as you got at your disposal… anywhere between one to five minutes. Be happy. Feel the feeling. Think about all the things you will do with this money. Then, say it aloud, “It’s easy. I believe it because it is true.” And, let it to. Guess what you just did? You did all three at once, Affirmation, Visualization and Meditation.

One word of caution, please don’t fall into the trap of doing too much from day #1. Create the tiny habit, just by starting with this simple line,

“I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/30.”

Simply continue it for a couple of months. Do not push it too hard, it will snap. I’ll give you a guarantee on this. Scientifically, a 66-day threshold is the best, to create and master a new habit. Go for the second line. Go for another 30 days. Go for the third line. In 6 to 9 months, you’ll go all the way and start running full swing. Don’t let greed consume you. Even though you’ll be writing just one line a day (initially) it will have a profound effect on manifesting your goal. Once again, you’ll determine which goal you need to start working with now. It could be your health, wealth, relationship, getting big toys… you decide.

MITD on Steroid

If you want to have an even faster result in your life, in a wholesome way, then split this system into two. Just remember these two acronyms:

MDP (Major Definite Purpose)

MITD (Most Important Twenty Daily)

MDP for Long Term Goal – What is your major definite purpose in life?

MITD for Short Term Goal – What is your immediate goal in life?

  • For your Long-Term goal (say like, it is to make $2,000,000), you can use the 369 ManifestationTechnique of Nicolas Tesla, which goes like this: Immediately after getting up in the morning, write it for 3 times, “The major definite purpose of my life is to have a net worth of $2,000,000 by 12/12/24.” Look at it, visualize it and then, let it go. In the noon, repeat the system and write it for six times. Then, just before sleep, write it for nine times and visualize once again. Mr. Tesla claims that in about 45 days, you’ll start seeing some kind of improvements (or for a smaller goal, it will manifest).

For your short-Term Goal, use the MITD method and write it once in the morning for 20 times, and see the wheels spinning in between 30 to 45 days, “I make in excess of $20,000 a month.”

A short-cut to both the lines:

MDP – I have $2M net worth.

MITD – I make $40k a month.

Long-Term versus Short-Term Goal

Here is a little background story which will tell you exactly how I discovered MITD on steroids?

Initially when I started writing 20 times daily in the morning, even though I started making good money, and sometime pretty good money, while I was working on an average 20 hours a week.

But even though I’ve been doing it for several years, my overall improvement in life wise not really very worth mentioning. And I was like, I’m making so much money but then why am not advancing, as much as I would like to? Then after deep soul-searching, I found out that I am just focused on my monthly goal and not my goals for the next year, next three years, next five years, next 10 years or next 20 years. In other words, I was totally oblivious to my long-term goal for my life. And that was pretty much of a waking call for me. And then I created this system which encompasses both your long-term and short-term goals…

Let’s start with two acronyms, MDP & MITD:

MDP (Major Definite Purpose) and MITD (Most Important Twenty Daily)

MDP for Long Term Goal – What is your major definite purpose in life?

MITD for Short Term Goal – What is your immediate goal in life?

Then on the top of the page I would write my major definite purpose of my life, like this…

The major definite purpose of my life is to have a net worth of $2 million by 12/12/24. Just write it for one time.

Then from the next line you write your regular most important 20 daily, like…

I make in excess of $10,000 by 8/31/22.

And then after six months, the miracle happened and I started getting closer and closer to my long-term goal, in other words, the major definite purpose of my life. And oh, by the way, in the meanwhile my eyes were also set on my monthly target of making $10,000 initially. Then take it up to $20,000. Add eventually $50,000 a month.

I know I’m repeating it several times the importance about having a clear-cut understanding about your long-term and short-term goals. Now that you heard my own cautionary tale, I think you’ll learn from my mistakes that, you cannot choose one at the cost of the other. Make no mistakes, if you just focus on your long-term goals, your short-term goal will fall behind and vice versa.

And now, try punching, “369 Manifestation Technique,” into it…

and you’ll experience Steroids.

369 Manifestation Technique

In Sanskrit they say, “Yatha Drishti Tatha Shristi.”  And in Bible it says, “As within so without.” Both of them compare the same meaning, which is set clearly by Napoleon hill in his all-time classic, Think and Grow Rich, “Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” So we see that the first step for success is to be able to conceive an idea and start believing in it. Conceiving an idea simply means you write down your goals. In other words decide what you want? Make a wish. But the second step which is asking you to believe in your dreams and goals, is pretty hard. Say for example, you want to make $10,000 a month. Or you want to have a net worth of $2,000,000. Do you think your subconscious mind is going to accept it right away? Do you think it will believe it? I’ve a news for you, it won’t. And unless your subconscious mind believes in something, most of the time in life, it is very hard to achieve it. So the question is how to make your subconscious mind believe it? And the answer is there are two different ways to achieve it, the hard way and the easy way. The hardware is that you start doing heavy meditation, visualization and affirmation, and then eventually you’ll get it. And the easy way is that you can start Trump tomorrow by avoiding the long learning curve that comes with the practice of meditation sessions. And that is to start writing it on a piece of paper. And this is what one of the greatest geniuses of our time, Mr. Nicolas Tesla used to do it. He invented this “369 Manifestation Technique.” Which doesn’t have much learning curve. And it works equally good for a skeptic person as well as for a lazy person. Oh, did I forget to mention those who are impatient? Yes, it also works equally good for them. Why? Because if you have a hard time believing it, don’t push yourself. You just follow the system, and before long you will see it manifesting in front of your eyes. I have seen it firsthand working equally good for a believer and a skeptic person. And the beauty of the system is, simplicity. Yes he will create this tiny habit by following this formula:

“Make the change too small to fail.”

So, you will start writing just three times in the morning, and that’s it. That little step will get you there.

Here is the Secret Behind Nicolas Tesla:

  1. Decide your wish
  2. Affirm your wish – imagine it’s already given to you and thank the Universe
  3. Write it 3 times in the morning, 6 times in the afternoon and 9 times in the night.

Visualize living your wish and feel happy.

  1. Repeat for 45 days. Trust the Universe.

Be positive and mindful about your thoughts.

But I don’t have the time…

Okay, okay I hear you loud and clear. You do not have time, but you read the book so far and you believe that MITD will help you achieve your goals. Correct? Well, in that case, let me give you a bonus idea that would make the whole system even easier. But remember, if I had time, I’d go all the way. So, what is the short-cut? Here you go…

The moment you open your eyes in the morning, write your MDT (Major Definite Purpose of life), immediately on a piece of paper. If it is getting a $2,000,000 net worth, write it down like this:

“I have $2M net worth.”

Just these five words. You can ignore it and keep on waiting for your goals to manifest or write these five words and see them happening. Choice is yours. In fact, I do it for myself every day. I have a little yellow pad that I keep by my bedside and upon waking up, I’ll add one more line in the same page, day in and day out. I will write my five words, and then get on with my life. Don’t underestimate it. It has a miraculous power. And, you will see it, before long.

But what if I have two goals simultaneously…

Well, in that case, you’ll have to make two notebooks and write on them 20 times each every morning, separately. A salesperson had two goals:

  1. Wanted to make $20,000 a month, and also
  2. Wanted to get his daily appointments to sit with his prospects.

So, he made two notebooks, and started writing in them like this:

I make in excess of $20,000 by 8/31/2022.

I get a quality appt today.

And that’s it. In about 30 days, his wheels started spinning and he had more leads than he could handle.

Your Roadmap to Success

This is your most shortcut to success:

If you think money will improve your life, then start writing your MITD first. Then we will go around to it and we’ll start putting the next layer of Bricks.

As they say,

“Inch by inch is a cinch, but yard by yard it is hard.”

Once again, start small, by following the BJ Fogg’s formula of Tiny Habits, which dictates,

“Make the change too small to fail.”

By doing so, you’ll be all set for a lifelong marathon of law of attraction.

And then, once you make some money, it will create time in your life…

You’ll start getting up early

Do some exercise

Read books

Get deeper into various forms of meditation, visualization, and affirmation.

Action Creates Momentum

No matter where in life you are at now, but the only way, only way to do it is jump at it. As they say, “Action creates momentum.” Even if you do not believe it, no problem. I want you to give yourself a fair chance to taste it. What do you have to lose? It does not cost you any money. All the big things are done by only one approach, ‘action.’ Act and jump onto it. As Nike says, “Just do it.” Do it like a machine, and you’ll thank me after 30 days. This is the only system in the world that I know of, has all the 3 parts for Law of Attraction: Meditation, Affirmation and Visualization, as I mentioned before.

Your Eye, Hand, and Mind coordination

From time to time, I come across people who will ask me, Sunny how if I write it on my computer? Will I still have the same results? And my answer to them is always the same, NO.

Here is the reason behind it. Let’s ask ourselves the question, what we are trying to achieve here? Obviously, we have a goal and we’re trying to manifest it. And in order to do that, we need to get the message into our subconscious mind. Once the message is accepted, our subconscious mind starts working on it. Our senses starts to attract things and opportunities in our lives that we never saw it before. And when we jump on those opportunities, magic happens. But the biggest challenge that we always pays is to get the message into our subconscious mind by going around our conscious mind. Because conscious mind is the gate keeper. It would not let you send a message to the subconscious mind. How do you trick the gate keeper? By getting into an alpha state. And in order to get into alpha state, we need to use all our five senses. We put our sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch to work.

And that is the reason for writing your MITD on a piece of paper. Let’s see which senses you influence when you are writing it by using a pen or pencil?

Sight: We see with our eyes what we’re writing.

Smell: There is a smell of that special ink or paper, no matter how faint they are.

Hearing: We hear the sound of pages flipping. We hear our own affirmation.

Taste: We don’t taste anything here.

Touch: We’re touching the pen and paper.

As you can see, by writing on a piece of paper with hand, we are involving at least 3 to 4 sentences at a time out of our five senses. Whenever you’re you have your eye, hand, and mind coordination, that gives you more concentration. Which breeds more success. You can say it’s kind of a meditation, but only on a very smaller scale. Once you get good at MITD, then your next step will be to venture that more powerful word of meditation, visualization, and affirmation. But for beginners, it’s enough to get started with a pen and paper. I’m not writing on your iPhone or computer. In the next chapter we’ll discuss more about affirmation and also how you can also make it a part of your MITD?

What is an Affirmation?

Doing Affirmation is consciously choosing to think certain thoughts that will manifest positive results in the future. They create a focal point that will allow you to begin changing your thinking. Affirmative statements are going beyond the reality of the present into the creation of the future through the words you use in the now. As they say, fake it, till you make it, when you tell yourself something so many times, you create a reality for yourself. Your sub-conscious mind starts to believe it, and so…

“Your new future begins with your new truth.”

MITD is affirmation at its best.

When you write it down 20 times a day, it’s a combination of writing and clearing process. It gets a double hit of energy. It’s the best affirmation plus visualization combo. By writing, your employing both the right and left hemisphere of your brain together. Once the left and right brain both start working in tandem, the result is nothing but pure magic.

Clarity attracts faith and trust

The more you write, the more you get clear about your goal. And clarity begets faith and trust. After writing for a while, subconsciously you start believing it. Your subconscious cannot differentiate between real and unreal. When you write more you send a message to your subconscious. And ultimately it becomes your reality. Once it becomes reality, it manifests. Your goal should be to make the left & right brain work together. Later on, we’ll talk about another gem that will also give you a tool to make “Left & Right Brain Play Together.”

Affirmation + Creative Visualization – through MITD

Tim Ferris in his best seller book, Tools of Titans, describes MITD like this:

First, choose a goal and write it down 20 times every day, using a certain phrase structure like… “I, [your name], will earn more than $10,000 by the end of this month.” Or…

“I, [your name], will lose 10 lbs by 09/30/2022.” Keep doing it every day.

As you keep doing this, it will feel like opportunities are showing up out of nowhere. These may seem like coincidences, but what matters is that they happen frequently.

Now, how exactly do you make these affirmations work? Well, in my opinion, what really counts is your dedication to staying focused, and your commitment.

When I first tried this, I used a pen or pencil and a piece of paper. I would write the same sentence 20 times, once every day. And here’s why I think it works: there’s a concept called reticular activation that I learned a long time ago. It’s basically the idea that it’s easy to hear your own name spoken in a crowd.

Essentially, it means that your brain sets up filters to process information. It’s like how you can hear your name being spoken in a noisy crowd – your brain is constantly filtering information based on what you pay attention to the most. So, by focusing on a specific goal through these affirmations, you can train your brain to notice opportunities that were already there, but previously, you were ignoring.

In 2003, I started using the affirmation “I, Sunny Mitra, will earn more than $10,000 by the end of this month.” The odds were 50/50, but with dedication, I made it happen.

My Initial Source for MITD

Here is the source from where I first came to know about MITD, in 1999. It’s a book by Suze Orman called, The 9-Steps to Financial Freedom…

I especially loved these lines where she writes,

I wrote down that truth twenty-five times a day, said it to myself in the mirror, thought about it each time I went up and down in the elevator. That’s what I would say, and that’s the truth I created. I still carry that truth around with me like a lucky charm in words, and it still works. I replaced the message of fear, and my belief I was inadequate, with a message of endless possibility.

Here is how it works.

I’ll tell you exactly how I did it, but then I’ll also tell you that I’m positive the exact method doesn’t matter. I think what matters is ‘the degree of focus,’ and ‘the commitment you have to that focus.’ At first, the way I did it, back in those times, was I used a pencil or a pen and a piece of paper, and I wrote the same sentence 20 times, once a day. Here is why I think it seems to work, and there are several possibilities. One is something I learned long ago, and I forgot who coined it, but have you ever heard the phrase ‘reticular activation?’ It’s basically the idea that it’s easy to hear your own name spoken in a crowd.

You will hear background noise blah, blah, blah, Sunny Mitra, blah, blah, blah. And you think, how did I hear that one thing in this whole bunch of crowd noise? Basically, your brain isn’t capable of processing everything in its environment, or even coming close. So, the best it can do is set up these little filters. And the way it sets its filters is by what you pay attention to. It’s what you spend the most energy on… that’s how you set your filter. So, your filter is automatically set for your name because that’s the thing that matters most to you.

But you can use these affirmations, presumably – this is just a hypothesis – to focus your mind and your memory on a very specific thing. And that will allow you to notice things in your environment that might have already been there. It is just that your filter was set to ignore, and then you just doing it through this “memory and repetition trick” until it widens a little bit to allow some extra stuff in. Now, there is some science back to that…

Eventually I decided to start the affirmation, “I, Sunny Mitra, make in excess of $10,000 by 3/31/2003.” The odds of making $10,000 a month for me was 50/50. Because before that I never made more than $5,000 a month till February of 2003, as an All-State Insurance Agent. And in 30 days, it started moving. When my wife also joined me, it started spinning its wheels even faster. And, by the 45th day, I’d made $10,000. Then, with the newly gained confidence it kept on happening on a regular basis.

The time-tested Procedure

Start writing like this:

I’m certain…

I make in excess of $40k by 3/31/22

And then, read the whole thing aloud.

End like this:

It’s easy and

I believe it because it’s true

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And then, read the whole thing aloud. Here is why:

When you read, write and hear, your 3 senses work simultaneously.

Hand – When you touch the pen and paper

Eyes – When you see the written words

Ear – When you hear them aloud

Once again, read every line aloud, after writing.

It’s easy and…

“I believe it because it’s true.”

Thank you thank you thank you

A short version of MITD

Some days, when you are running out of time or working on a new project,

You can take a short-cut, spend just one minute, and it will still work wonders:

Start like this:

Press your Index finger (with left thumb & index) for six times

Then, say this line aloud,

I’m certain I make in excess of $40k by 3/31/22

Then, close your eyes and visualize it for a minute.

Tap on your heart six times, in a slow rhythm

End like this:

It’s easy and…

I believe it because it’s true

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Also write the points from my Costco Photo-book…. About this MITD.

MITD is affirmation at its best.

One word of caution

I read this quote recently and thought, “It is just so true…”

“Any fool can be a hero at any given moment. It’s the day-to-day living that wears you out.”

As you know it well, life will through a curve at you, no matter what. It is just so HARD to keep on keeping on, what matter how small the job is… keep on doing it day-in and day-out is a real challenge. Here is a little technique that will save you from falling off the routine.

Someday, if you get extremely busy and do not have the time to write it for 20 times, just write it for one. Yes, just one line, instead of 20 lines. But the secret is not to miss a single day. Even if you do not time in the morning, for that particular day, do it in the afternoon or in the evening, but “Do You Must.” I can guarantee you if you escape one day, right from there, your fall will start.

Another thing, after a month or two, when you get the results, you’ll take it easy and look at it as a “Trivial Thing.” Please don’t. That will initiate your “Fall from the Grace.”

How to follow this Unique & Time-Tested System?

  1. This one is going to be your CORE sentence. You might change the number to 5k, 10k, 20k, 40k or whatever you think you are worth. But other than that, please do not change anything else here. Not even a single character. If you did, it’ll lose it’s luster. The magic will be gone. This sentence may sound simple, but it has been crafted very scientifically. So, here is the sentence:

Before writing it for 20 times, you need to write,

I’m certain that —

“I make in excess of $10,000 by March 31, 2021.”

After writing it for 20 times, you need to write,

It’s easy and…

“I believe it because it’s true.”

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  1. If by the middle of the month, you’ve made close to $10,000, then what will you do for the rest of the month? Well, you’ll still keep on writing the same sentence, but with a twist, “I make in excess of $10,000 net by 3/31/21.” As you can see, you did not change the main goal (of making $10k a month) but went one step further. When you say, “Net,” that means, it is your after-tax dollars. In fact, to bring home $10,000 in a given month, you’ll have to make more than $10,000. Maybe $14,000 or $13,000, depending on your tax bracket. So, when you are writing, “I make $10k net,” you’re still using the same number for that given month, but the word NET gives it a boost. The reason you do not want to change the sentence (your goal) in the middle of the month, is because, by doing so, you’ll confuse your sub-conscious mind. And you do not want that. That will mar the whole thing.
  2. Generally writing a sentence like this, “I make in excess of $10,000 by 3/31/21,” Will be enough for you to achieve your goal. But if you really want to push, put a booster on to it, then after writing this line for 20 times, say your affirmation like this…
    • I, Sunny, I am making $10,000 in 30 days.
    • Sunny, you are making $10,000 in 30 days.
    • Sunny is making $10,000 in 30 days.
  1. To Sum it up – It goes in 4 parts…

Part #1:

You’ll write your long-term goal in the first line. For example, my friend, who had his long-term goal to become a multi-millionaire, started writing like this,

The major definite purpose of my life is to become a multi-millionaire by 12/12/21.

It is important, for the simple reason that, you should work on the short-term goal now (monthly income) but also have your eyes on the long-term, otherwise your castle will crumble soon.

Part #2:

Then, in the month of May he made $235,000. So he thought, what should I do now? I’m already on the track to pass my yearly goal. What if I make way more than $500,000 this year? As you know, his monthly goal was to make $40,000 a month. So, he wrote the second line as,

I make in excess of $500,000 net by 12/31/2021.

What that means is even if he exceeds his goal of making $500k in 2021, it’s okay. Because making $800,000 gross might come down to $500,000 net, after taxes and his marketing expenses.

Part #3:

Then he wrote his regular sentence for 20 times,

I make in excess of $40,000 by 6/30/21.

Part #4:

Then he wrote this one line at the bottom of the page,

I believe it and it’s true. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

After that, he closed his eyes, smiled, visualized it and then, let it go…

It’s easy and…

“I believe it because it’s true.”

The question is, “Why should you write, I make $10k in a month?” No, you don’t have to. It is just an example. I do not know you personally. It all depends where in life you are, right now. If your need is to make $40,000 a month, and to make $500,000 a year, then, make that number your goal. And start writing, “I make in excess of $40,000 by 3/31/21.” Then, suppose by the 20th of March, you’ve made so many sales that you are already on track to make $40k in March. Then, from 3/21/21, you’ll start writing, “I make in excess of $500k net in 2021.” As you can see, in order to get $500,000 net, you’ll have to earn may be $750,000 in gross income.

If you did this exercise, you would see the results, guaranteed!!! Just believe in it wholeheartedly. The secret is after writing you go to visualize it for a moment. Here you feel the feelings, infused with emotions. It’s visualization (create an internal representation) on autopilot. When I write my “Intention Card” the day before and write my affirmation (I make $10,000 in 30 days) for 20 times in the morning, invariably the money appears. Most recently it happened in the month of January 2021, I made $40,000 with confidence.

It’s called Cognitive Priming.

After I got started, motivation withered away in 5 – 6 days. But this regular practice would take you far since you’ll put it on an autopilot.

The importance of a Daily-Designated Time:

Once you designated a time for it, it will become a habit, in 66 days. What I do is, I write this sentence after my morning breakfast. Once the food is consumed, I start sipping my black coffee, and start writing it. It takes approximately five minutes to finish (while enjoying it) my coffee, and so does the MITD (writing). This is also called Time Blocking (Refer the book, ONE Thing by Gary Keller).

Let’s just focus on this chapter for now. Let me show you how to make money using this technique, then, we’ll go to the next page.

The question is what is it?

Simply put,

You find your most important goal that you want to achieve right away.

Now, put it in one sentence.

For example, if you want to make $10,000 in the next 30 days, you’d write…

I make in excess of $10,000 by 3/31/2021.

Please note that it has to be in present tense and also you need to write the phrase, “in excess of.” Because then you’re not drawing a line for the universe to cut you off right at $10,000. In other words, you’re not limiting yourself.

And then, start writing it for 20 times a day, first thing in the morning.

And please do not limit it in just one area of your life. It is beyond making money. You can use it to cultivate a new habit, to achieve a new goal. No matter how big or trivial the goal might be. As I told my wife’s story in the video, she had a problem getting her Driver’s License. Once she started writing in, she got her license in three weeks. Please watch my YouTube video called, How I made $10,000 in 30 Days, for the whole story…

Before I proceed, let me first tell you what happened to me in the year 2003.

====================================================================

MITD Guidelines

I got this idea from Suzi Orman’s book “the nine steps to financial freedom.

I bought this book some 20 years ago and tried it in my business. And it worked to a certain degree and then it stopped working. I was surprised as to why it is not working and how to make it work? And along with time I perfected the system. And today if someone comes to me and asks, “Just tell me one thing that if I did it every day, that will make me successful.” I’ll tell him it’s MITD … It’s Your Most Important 20 Daily.

If you write your most important goal 20 times a day, you will achieve it in between 30 to 60 days. But the question is what do you want to achieve? So, it’s a short-term goal. And the way it works is if you are solely hung up on the short-term goal, finally it will fall off. That’s how it works in life. Unless you also have a long-term goal going with your short-term goal, hand-in-hand. So, the question is how to control both short-term and long-term goals together? How to balance them? I learned this simple technique from Brian Tracy who says, “Write it every day, this one vital goal of your life, ‘the major definite purpose of my life is to become a millionaire by 12/12/24.’” This is just an example. You can write whatever is your one most important goal in life. But the secret of writing the sentences is they have to be in the present tense, you need to write it as if it has already been achieved and also you put a date on it. A goal without a deadline is just a wish. So, what we’re talking about here is when we have both short-term goals and long-term goals then you have a balance in your life.

So once again you will write one line like this,

The major definite purpose of my life is to become a millionaire by 12/12/24.

Then you will write 20 times,

I make in excess of $10,000 by March 31, 2021.

Sometimes, you’ll finish it by the 15th of the month. So, the question is should you still keep on continuing writing the same? Because you might feel like an idiot to write some goal even after you have achieved it. So, here’s the answer:

From the middle of the month start writing, “I make $500K a year.” Say like, you want to make $40,000 in that particular month and you made it by the 15th; then you will start writing the goal for the whole year, which is to make $500,000 net this year, for the rest of the month.

When one of my mentors was talking about reviewing the Vision Board every day, he said he will stand in front of the vision board, review it, visualize those goals achieved, as if he owned them and then at the end closed his eyes, visualize them and said, “I believe it and it’s true.” And I cannot tell you how powerful that is.

So once again you will write one line like this…

But first, we’ll start with the Long-Term Goal which I call my MDP (Major Definite Purpose):

“The major definite purpose of my life is to become a millionaire by 12/12/24.”

Then you will write 20 times,

“I make in excess of $10,000 by March 31, 2021.”

Then you will write this one sentence at the bottom…

I believe it, and it’s true.

Here is a little note: You will write this sentence for the whole month even on the last day of the month without changing it. One big advantage this system has compared to meditation, visualization, or affirmation… is, it’s easy and doable even for a novice. All you need to do is find time, and on the designated time you do it every day. Like, after breakfast when I’m sipping my coffee, I do my MITD. Just think about it for a moment. I just finished my breakfast and now I’m sipping my coffee. Am I doing anything else? Not to my knowledge. And it generally takes me a couple of minutes to finish my coffee. By using that time, I’m doing two things: I create a daily routine and I’m also inching towards my goal every day. Once you repeat something for a while, it becomes your habit. Then you do not need to push for it because it’s on autopilot. And also, it might sound out of context, but at the end of the day you’re trying to change your habit which is an extremely hard thing. Chances are there that even if you start it after 3 to 5 days it’ll fall off. How do you continue it?

By starting with a tiny habit change. You start writing just one line in the morning, our main line (I’m at $10,000 by March 31, 2021), close your notebook and walk away from it. In other words, you take one step at a time. If you take it seriously and maintain it even writing one line once a day will create a miracle, in your life, I promise you. Oh, by the way, you will have to have a designated notebook where you will only write this and nothing else. If you start with just writing one line a day and go for a while, it will become your habit. So, if you have a discipline problem, I suggest you start small and create the habit easily and effortlessly. Please do not be greedy, it will fall off, guaranteed. Another way to create this time is you say this line 3 times a day, possibly 300 times a day, whatever you can afford, “After I finish my breakfast, I’ll do my MITD.” It does not have to be your breakfast. It could be after you get out of bed, or whatever suits you. Or you can say after I finish my morning coffee, I write it 20 times.

Now the biggest question is when and how and why will you do it? First of all, you will have to have a Why. Your big why could be you want to make money because you want to raise your children. Someone is writing it 20 times because she wants to bring her mother to this country. Her mother is stuck in another country and is not getting a visa to enter into the US. Or it could be like you just want to be debt-free. Only one condition is that it has to be a big enough reason. A big, powerful reason that will push you every day. And then you’ll have to find a designated time to do it every day. You need to find a slot in your busy day. And that is exactly when you will be doing it, every day, day in and day out. Like a machine. Make sure you do it every day at the same time. You do it like a robot. Don’t get me wrong, the reason I’m saying this is because I can’t just ask you to start doing the meditation and visualization from tomorrow and you’ll become a millionaire. All these things which include making your mind think or not to think about something is just so hard I cannot tell you. But anybody can write it 20 times. That doesn’t involve a lot of mental pressure. Just at the end, look at it and smile and say I believe it and it’s true. Yes, this sentence you’re not really writing but you also saying. The main power lies there.

The reason I’m so much into doing MITD is because I can ask you to do meditation or visualization, believe me it’s hard. Why? Because when you try to meditate, you’re not doing something tangible. Rather you are doing something intangible that you just close your eyes and visualize and think about it which is hard. But when you write it on a piece of paper, you can hold the pen and start writing. Your hand and eye coordination send a signal to your subconscious. When you are doing meditation, you are dealing with another world, something which involves a thought process. Whether you’re thinking or try not to think either way you’re working with your thought process. And that is the hardest thing in the world. In our next chapter we’re going to talk about it. But I want you to start small. Get some success. Believe in the system. And then go Big. Edison the scientist said, a man will accept death over thinking.

For most of my adult life, I was looking for a simple process that someone can do like a machine and get going. The beauty of this system is it works, it’s simple and anybody could benefit by this. After trying so many things in life, after 30 years of my hard research, I discovered the system. The problem is, all kinds of things that is out there, they all work to some degree. But they need a huge amount of discipline to continue. They need you to change your habit. And that is the hardest thing in the world. So, I want you to look at it as a steppingstone to your success. A steppingstone to implement law of attraction in your life. And this one, anybody, at any given time, can write one single line and walk. If someone says I don’t have the time, then that person is not serious about his success. And if you start writing 20 times then do it for 30 days, kudos to you. I admire you. I can tell you most of the people are not like you. Somewhere I had read a very poignant line, “Any fool can be a hero at any given moment. It’s the day to day living that wears you out.” And I believe it wholeheartedly. Which is why, when I start something, I start with two goals: I’ll keep it simple, and I’ll finish the job. And that works extremely well for me. How about you?

This Most Important 20 Lines Daily (MITD) will change your life.

Let me share some personal life experience and also about some other people who followed the system:

  1. My wife wanted to lose 10 pounds and it was not working. Then I asked her, “Why don’t you start writing it 20 times, ‘I weigh 125 pounds by March 31, 2021.’” She took my advice, started writing it and achieved her goal.
  2. Again, my wife wanted to bring her mother to the US, but her mother was not getting a visa to get inside this country. She started writing it every day 20 times and in 30 days her mother was here. Elaborate it…
  3. Again, when she first came here in the US my wife was trying to get a driver’s license and she was really struggling for such a long time. Once she started writing, “I get my driver’s license by 331 2003 March 31, 2003,” guess what happened? She got it.
  4. I like to work with young kids and mentor them, and it is mostly over the phone. One of my protégés is 25 years old and was desperately looking for a job while living in India. When he came to me, I asked him to start doing MITD, which he did. And eight months later he has three businesses, which are bringing him about $30,000 a month in his local currency. Even though he made a big mistake. He started on July 1 of 2020. Writing I make in excess of $10,000 by July 31, 2020. And believe it or not even in the months of August, September, October, and November, he continued writing the same sentence without changing the month. That slowed down his growth. I corrected him in February 2021. But still after eight months he hit the jackpot. It’s funny that he was writing backwards. He was asking for the universe to give him something in the past. Funny story huh! But look at him today. What he did is simply a very big dream came true for him.
  5. Now, this is the story from my own life. And if you want details you can go to my YouTube channel and watch this video; just type “How I made $10,000 in 30 days?” Long story short, in 2003 I was not making enough money. And when I started writing I make in excess of $10,000 a month. Nothing happened for the first 30 days. But by the 45thday, I had made $10,000 and called my wife. I told her, “Honey, because you help me doing it. Here is $1000 cash and I want you to go to a mall or someplace and blow the whole amount. Only condition is that you cannot bring any dollar out of it back home and the second condition is it cannot be a big-ticket item, like buying some gold jewelry or something like that.” She did some solid shopping and then came back home. Can you guess what happened? You know the answer. By the evening when she came back home the money was gone. Don’t you think she got the kick of her life?

Periodization in athletic training

They started the system in Eastern Europe to train their athletics for Olympic, now it is common and being used all over the world to train those future Olympians.

This is the definition of Periodization:

Periodization is the division of a training year (macrocycles) into smaller and more manageable intervals (mesocycles) with the goal of managing and coordinating all aspects of training to bring an athlete to peak performance at the most important competition or managing performance across a long in-season.

Now let’s think for a minute outside of the box, by asking this question, “how can I use and implement this method for my own success?

And here is the answer, sometime if you like, instead of writing, “I make in excess of $40,000 by 4/30/2021,” you can break it down into four weeks, and write it like this:

First week

I make in excess of $10,000 this week.

Or even better,

I make in excess of $10,000 by 4/7/2021

Second week

I make in excess of $10,000 this week.

Or even better,

I make in excess of $10,000 by 4/17/2021

Third week

I make in excess of $10,000 this week.

Or even better,

I make in excess of $10,000 by 4/24/2021

Fourth week

I make in excess of $10,000 this week.

Or even better,

I make in excess of $10,000 by 4/30/2021

Two Problems

With all honesty I learned this system from BRIAN TRACY in the late 90s. He says that if you write your 10 goals every day, then in 30 days you’ll start seeing the result of improvement in your life. Then I also found that other people were suggesting that procedure. And there is nothing wrong with it. But the problem is, it really bothers me when I see someone, or even in my own life, start something and do not finish it. So here are those two problems:

  1. The problem of continuation
  2. The problem of instant gratification

So, what happens is when you start writing 10 things, I mean 10 goals every morning, just think for a moment: You need to get a list of those goals with you, you need to find out every day before writing them, every time you write 10 goals you will start editing oh maybe I should add this goal I should subtract this goal. And then you’re copying those 10 goals from one place to another and in the meanwhile your inner self is continuously struggling for editing those goals. You see the amount of job it involves? And that is the perfect recipe for failure. If you want to succeed in the endeavor the first thing you need to do is get out of the mindset of being a perfectionist. In fact, some time ago I created a recipe for failure, which will never fail you if you try it:

  1. Poor planning
  2. Procrastination
  3.

Try it. And you’ll never fail to fail. Failure is guaranteed. Lol…

So, how do you save yourself from perfectionism?

You write 10 most important goals in your life that you want to do and then find one goal, the most pressing problem that you want to achieve the next 30 days. It could be losing 10 pounds. It would be mending your relationship with your son. It could be making $10,000 in the next 30 days. Whatever it is, just pick up one goal. And then start writing it like crazy. You do not need to edit it; you do not need to overthink it. As Nike’s logo says, just do it. Yes, just do it like a robot, like a machine. If you have good handwriting speed, it shouldn’t take more than five minutes two write that line 20 times in the morning. But if you keep it as simple as I told you, I guarantee it, you’ll keep on continuing it. And one more thing will happen, once you taste success after 30 days, you will get hooked onto it. And you’ll keep on doing it for the rest of your life. You see the big picture? You want to achieve so many goals. So why give it up after achieving just one or two goals?

Instant gratification:

If you try to write 10 goals every morning you might achieve some of them, but not in 30 days. Because you are not focused enough on one goal. When you are just working on one particular goal, your chance of succeeding goes up multi-fold. And you will succeed. And that will bring you instant gratification. Which will fuel you for more success down the road. When writing 10 goals a day you cannot do that.

Important Notes & Phrases

Doing Affirmation is consciously choosing to think certain thoughts that will manifest positive results in the future. They create a focal point that will allow you to begin changing your thinking. Affirmative statements are going beyond the reality of the present into the creation of the future through the words you use in the now.
